Cities are the future leaders of policy to combat climate change.

In 2016 alone, environmentally-induced migration displaced an estimated 24.2 million people, and the overwhelming majority of such individuals have sought refuge in urban areas. National leaders have failed to develop a proper strategy to respond to these new challenges. As a result, the responsibility has fallen on local leaders to develop best practices for managing disaster responses to climate migration.

This project looks at how cities around the world are adapting to the growing challenge of climate migration.
